Alura Review:

Alura cream has been around for a couple of years now but is not one of the better known female sexual enhancement products. Alura is manufactured by a company called NHT Global which has offices worldwide.

Alura is a 100% natural cream designed to help improve a woman's sexual sensation and pleasure during sex. Alura contains Menthol and should be used with caution when applying to sensitive skin areas.

Alura Product Claims:

  • Helps Keep Surface of the Clitoris Sensitive
  • Creates an Exhilarating "Cool Tingling" Sensation

Alura Results:

It's unclear what results - if any - the average woman will experience while using Alura cream. The product literature refers to a "cool tingling sensation", but this is most likely due to the inclusion of Menthol in the ingredients. The website states that "In some cases, continual use of Alura can result in greater intimate pleasure." - not the strongest of assurances.

Some readers report feeling improved sensation while using Alura, and this may lead some to have an increased desire to have sex more often. Customer feedback indicates that Alura is not nearly as effective as leading competitors like Provestra or Vigorelle cream - and in many cases Alura will not provide noticeable improvement in sexual sensation or arousal.

Alura - Full Review

Alura (Formerly Viacreme) - Review

alura reviewAlura is a female arousal cream which was formerly sold under the more commonly known brand name Viacreme. The Alura formula is manufactured and distributed by a company called NHT Global and sold through a MLM network of affiliates who buy the product and re-sell it through their own websites or E-Bay. The company also sells a number of other herbal supplements across many health categories. From the Alura manufacturer's website:

"Romance only dies if you let it... For centuries, women and men around the world have struggled to find answers to better relationships and greater sexual satisfaction. Statistics indicate that one out of every three break-ups is due to lack of intimacy. Today, intimacy has never been more promising thanks to this incredible product. According to Dr. Dale Keeton, renowned psychologist, “When sexual intimacy is enhanced, the other dimensions of intimacy seem to improve…communication increases and thus, the overall relationship is enhanced.

Alura is a patented, safe, clear viscous compound that contains ingredients that help keep the surface of the clitoris sensitive. When applied, it penetrates the soft surface tissue and creates an exhilarating, “cool tingling” sensation. In some cases, the continual use of Alura can result in greater intimate pleasure. Alura is a natural, topical creme and is sold over-the-counter through the NHT Global network. And it has been evaluated by a laboratory, nurses and physicians. Alura is a 100% water soluble essence product which quickly moistens your skin and makes it feel fresh, alive and healthy. Use a sufficient amount of Alura every morning and evening and massage into the skin. You will see optimum results if you use daily for 60 days. (Note: This product contains Menthol so be careful whenever use at sensitive skin area. And if you are pregnant, do not use this product)."

The Alura product website is somewhat confusing - as it only gives a minimal amount of information about Alura - and you can't actually buy it from the manufacturer's website - although you can sign up as a "re-seller" for Alura and can then sell it as an affiliate. However, if you want to actually buy Alura it's a bit trickier, as we couldn't find a way to buy it from the website itself. Alura is a "clear viscous compound" which is manually applied to the clitoris twice daily. This is rather interesting as the website goes on to warn women to "be careful whenever you use Alura on sensitive skin areas." We can't imagine too many more sensitive areas than the clitoris - yet that's exactly where this product is intended to be used!

It's important to note that Alura is NOT a vaginal lubricant and will not help women who have vaginal dryness. Alura must be applied twice daily and you need to use it daily for 60 days to see optimal results. The Alura arousal oil comes with no money back guarantee, which is unfortunate as most of their competitors all offer money back guarantees with their products. If you're looking for a product specifically to improve sexual sensation and arousal - then Alura is probably not the best choice. Alura will also not address any other aspects of female sexuality such as low female sex drive, and orgasm or arousal problems.

Finding an online retailer where you can by Alura is not easy. You cannot buy Alura from the manufacturer's website - although there is information there on how to join their MLM program and become an Alura "re-seller". At the time of this review we were able to find Alura for sale on E-Bay at a price of $62.00 per bottle.

Alura - Conclusion

alura reviewsOverall we feel that Alura (formerly Viacreme) is at best a 'decent' product to help women's sexual enjoyment, however it does has some definite drawbacks. Alura is somewhat one-dimensional in that Alura is mainly designed to provide short term benefits of mildly increased sensation during sex. However, Alura will not really work to help address one of the main female sexual problems which is low female sex drive (also referred to as low female libido). In other words, Alura may or may not help make sex more enjoyable - but it won't do anything to actually increase your arousal or desire to have sex in the first place - the main complaint that most women have. Alura is applied by "massaging" the oil into the clitoris, with the aim of producing a "cool tingling" sensation. In actual fact, the tingling sensation is just a mild numbing as a result of the Menthol in the formula.

Another drawback is that Alura has no money back guarantee, so you can't try it "risk free" as you can with most other female sexual enhancers. We feel that if the manufacturer truly believed in their product they would back it up with a solid money back guarantee. Another complaint we have is the lack of detailed information available on the manufacturer website. Only a few paragraphs of information are made available on the product, and you can't even purchase it from the product website! The Alura website states that "In some cases, the continual use of Alura can result in greater intimate pleasure". This is not exactly a confidence inspiring recommendation - especially coming from the product's manufacturer!

On the plus side, Alura is quite reasonably priced and comes at a cost that most people should be able to afford. You should consult your health care professional prior to using Alura if you have or suspect a medical condition, are taking prescription drugs - or are pregnant or lactating. Overall, Alura may be a product to consider - but if you're looking for dramatic results in a sexual enhancer, then Alura probably isn't for you. There are several superior products like Provestra, Femestril, and Vigorelle which have been around for many years and have been proven extremely effective. Research from our editors and customer feedback from readers indicate a user rating of #22 for Alura, certainly respectable - but still far behind the top-rated female sexual enhancement products.
